Job summary

Wainwright Talent Partners seeks an Assistant Project Manager for Newton or Littleton, MA, to support new construction projects in the Greater Boston area.

The role focuses on helping plan, schedule, budget, and coordinate with subcontractors, owners, and vendors to ensure projects meet timelines and quality standards. A construction-focused bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of PM experience are preferred, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project management team in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Prepare contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality and safety standards.
