Job summary

Front Range Civil Engineering LLC is seeking an early career engineer to support land development and infrastructure projects across Colorado. The ideal candidate will have experience with Civil 3D, grading, drainage analysis, and strong communication skills.

This remote/hybrid role requires residency in Colorado and offers a clear pathway to project management. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 DOE, plus quarterly bonus based on profitability and benefits including 3% IRA matching, 15 days

Qualifications

• Have 2-4 years of land development experience.
• Well versed in civil design and plan production utilizing Civil 3D.
• Proficient at grading, drainage analysis, and report writing (drainage reports, SWMPs, utility reports, etc).
• Hold an ABET accredited engineering degree.
• Be able to research, understand, and apply municipal code to engineering drawings & designs.
• Be able to work independently on simpler scope projects and collaboratively on more complex projects.

Job description

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for employer sponsorship (now or in the future).

Front Range Civil Engineering is a growing civil engineering firm focused on land development and infrastructure projects throughout Colorado with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service and producing high-quality deliverables and practical designs.

We are looking to add an early career engineer with strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and a solid understanding of the land development process from concept to final close out. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual who wants a clear pathway to project management.

This position is remote or hybrid. Due to occasional site visits and client meetings, candidate must be located in (or in the process of relocating to) Colorado.

The ideal candidate must:

• have 2-4 years of land development experience
• be well versed in civil design and plan production utilizing Civil 3D
• be proficient at grading, drainage analysis, and report writing (drainage reports, SWMPs, utility reports, etc)
• hold an ABET accredited engineering degree
• be able to research, understand, and apply municipal code to engineering drawings & designs
• be able to work independently on simpler scope projects and collaboratively on more complex projects

Compensation includes:

• Salary ($65,000-$80,000 DOE)
• Quarterly bonus based on profitability (tiered so a more successful quarter is proportionally rewarded)
