Job description

An award-winning and sustainability-focused architectural design studio in the Reno area is seeking a talented and driven Early Career Architect to join their growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career designer to gain hands‑on experience across all phases of design, documentation, and delivery. You’ll work alongside seasoned architects and planners, contributing directly to projects that prioritize thoughtful design, regional context, and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams in the development of architectural designs and construction documents.
  • Assist with presentations, renderings, and design iterations across a variety of project types.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to coordinate project milestones.
  • Contribute to research, space planning, and early programming activities.
  • Participate in design charrettes, site visits, and client meetings as needed.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with architectural documentation tools such as Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in design software including SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
