Job summary

Rowan is seeking a personable Sales Associate for our Long Beach studio located at 2nd & PCH. This part-time role requires weekend availability and a customer-first mindset to greet clients, educate on piercing services and jewelry, and maintain a clean, inviting space.

You will support day-to-day operations, restock materials, and help ensure a seamless client experience while embracing Rowan's celebratory culture. Previous retail or jewelry-related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail or sales experience required.
• Comfort with jewelry or ear piercing a plus.
• Must be friendly, organized and sales-minded.
• Must be available on weekends and have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet ear-piercing clients and shoppers.
• Educate customers about Rowan piercing services and jewelry.
• Assist clients and shoppers with needs.
• Improve store efficiency and ensure a seamless client experience.
• Restock jewelry and piercing materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the studio.
• Contribute to bi-weekly inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with technology and software systems.
• Model Rowan's culture and create a celebratory atmosphere.
• Possess retail or sales experience.
• Experience with jewelry, ear piercing, or service/hospitality is a plus.
• Work independently with an ownership mindset.
• Maintain high energy and resourcefulness.
• Passion for earrings and ear piercing.
• Interest in contributing to a high-growth, early-stage company.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.
