Position Summary

Fully Remote anywhere within the continental U.S.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm Eastern Time. Training hours may differ from the shift you are hired for.

The WorkLife Consultant (WLC) is part of the WorkLife Team, providing consultation, assessment, and resource referrals to customers for needs such as child care, elder/adult care, and basic needs. The WLC offers Worklife consultation and informational services to members and plan sponsors, with the most common requests related to child care, elder care, and mental health, especially elder care due to expanded business.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Assess needs, propose options, and research/screen community service providers to meet assessed needs.
  • Provide resource referrals and coach individuals on resource utilization for various life and work situations.
  • Document member interactions and research/case fulfillment in the system.
  • Work in an inbound and outbound call center environment, making outbound calls and conducting research.
  • Handle calls that may be administrative or customer service-oriented, based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in locating and referring to community resources (e.g., elder care, food assistance, transportation, housing, rental assistance, support groups, human services).
  • At least 1 year of experience working with elderly and/or adults with disabilities, including assessments and referrals.
  • At least 1 year of experience in social work, social services, case management, or related fields involving assessments, referrals, discharge planning, etc.
  • Experience conducting psychosocial and/or needs assessments.
  • Access to broadband or fiber internet with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish language skills.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related social services/health field required; Master's preferred.
Additional Details
  • Anticipated weekly hours: 40
  • Time type: Full-time
  • Pay range: $21.10 - $40.90 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.
