Job summary

AllOne Health Resources, Inc. seeks a full-time EAP Counselor to join our Merrillville, IN office. You will assess clients, provide short-term counseling, and coordinate care with employers and healthcare providers.

The role requires a master's degree in counseling or social work, clinical licensure in Indiana, and experience in counseling or related fields. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to support employee well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work or related disciplines.
• Previous clinical experience.
• LCSW, LMHC or LCAC preferred.
• Clinical licensure in Indiana; IN and IL licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine the nature of a client's mental health and/or substance misuse issues.
• Develop counseling goals based on the assessment.
• Provide one-on-one counseling and follow-up, including with employers.
• Educate about substance misuse, risks, symptoms, and impacts on personal and professional life.
• Provide crisis management services to nearby accounts served by the office.
• Identify external resources including treatment facilities and support groups; follow up on referrals.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate records of assessments, progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with HR and managers to coordinate care.
• Work with medical professionals and other treatment providers to coordinate comprehensive care.
