ECU Health in Greenville, North Carolina, is seeking an EAP counselor to support employees and eligible family members through crisis intervention, brief counseling, and referrals. The role includes providing orientations, well-being workshops, and therapy via in-person or video formats.
Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Psychology/Social Work/MFT and current licensure (LMFT/LCMHC/LCSW/PhD). Some regional travel and on-call rotation are expected as part of this full-time, onsite position.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselor utilizes their expertise to support and counsel individuals through crisis intervention, brief solutions-focused counseling, referrals to treatment or other outside community resources, and ongoing follow-up for ECU Health team members and their eligible family members.
The EAP counselor provides orientations and well-being workshops to team members and their eligible family members. The counselor provides therapy and assessments via face-to-face and/or video conferencing. The EAP counselor will provide management and leadership consultation and coaching, and other EAP organizational interventions. The counselor is a trusted and compassionate resource for ECU Health leadership and team members throughout the organization.
