Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Foreign Disclosure Analyst at the junior level to support a NAVAIR program office in Patuxent River, MD. You will join the Foreign Disclosure Team to review and document information releases to international participants and assist with licenses and policy compliance.

The role requires a Secret clearance eligibility and strong MS Office skills. The position offers full-time employment with location at Patuxent River and a competitive salary range.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with technical and analytical support for the Foreign Disclosure Office in developing, updating, administering, and evaluating policies and procedures affecting release of information to international customers.
  • Assist the platform International Programs team in processing licenses and issuing recommendations on platform-related licenses.
  • Collect, organize and interpret technical information relating to system acquisition and ITAR licensing.
  • Research disclosure policy and ensure compliance with National Disclosure Policy, TTSARB, and related regulations.
  • Review documents to ensure releasability for foreign customers and provide feedback to document owners.

OVERVIEW

Location: Patuxent River, MD

We are is currently seeking a Foreign Disclosure Analyst, Junior level, to support a major NAVAIR program office under Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division in Patuxent River, MD. Candidate will provide analysis and support as a member of a program office Foreign Disclosure Team, which will be responsible for reviewing and documenting the release of information to international participants.

The proposed salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assistwith technical and analytical support for the Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO) in developing, updating, administering, and evaluating policies and procedures directly affecting the release of highly technical and sensitive information to international customers.
  • Assistthe platform International Programs team in processing licenses. Participate inidentifying, collecting, analyzing, staffing, and issuing recommendations on platform-related licenses. Track case status and schedules
  • Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical information relating to system acquisition and ITAR licensing.
  • Research disclosure policy and ensure that theappropriate NationalDisclosure Policy, Technology Transfer and Security Assistance Review Board (TTSARB), Disclosure Determination, Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA)or Export License is upheld.
  • Stay familiar with system configurations and awareness of capabilities and stay abreast of differentsystemby FMS customer.
  • Reviewdocumentsvarious security enclaves to ensure documents provided to foreign customers are releasable; provide feedback to document owners with notes associated with your review if necessary. Notify document owners of document questions, corrections, or sanitization needs.
  • Maintain a document tracker with statuses of documents in the Foreign Disclosure review queue.
  • Upload documents into the NAVAIR 7.4 Security Storefront. Ensure the 7 Golden Questions form is uploaded with the associated document package in the storefront.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

  • Skilled in use of MS Office suite, including MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  • High levelsof initiative. Positive mental attitude
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • HS Diploma and 1 year of professional experience in Foreign Disclosure, FMS cases, or export/importlogisticsmanagement, preferably in support of the USG or a major defense contractor OR
  • Skilled in use of Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD program acquisition for domestic and/or international militaryaircraftprograms
