Job summary

Nationwide Insurance and Financial Services seeks an E&S Wholesale Underwriting Intern in Scottsdale, AZ for June–August 2027. Housing and travel assistance are available for qualified candidates.

The internship program at Nationwide focuses on building leadership, technical skills, and industry knowledge through classroom sessions, on-the-desk training, and real-world projects within a fast-paced E&S environment.

Responsibilities

• Participating in department and company meetings.
• Classroom sessions to build skills and knowledge.
• On-the-desk training.
• Using knowledge of products and coverages to support internal and external stakeholders.
• Networking with business partners to understand how a business operates.
• Complete projects with other Underwriting interns to drive business results.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
