Zurich North America is seeking an Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter – E&S Property to join our team in Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL with a hybrid schedule. You will analyze and underwrite new and renewal business, partnering with national wholesalers and applying The Zurich Way of Underwriting within delegated authority.

Responsibilities include evaluating exposure, pricing, using data to drive decisions, and meeting with agents and brokers in the market.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 3+ years in underwriting or market facing, or 6+ years in underwriting support or claims.
• Knowledge of lines of business and regulatory guidelines.
• Knowledge of time constraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Serving as a customer industry advocate with a focus on improving the customer experience by understanding their risk and offering the best end to end solution for their insurance needs.
• Using a disciplined approach to exposure evaluation, risk assessment and pricing.
• Using risk insights, data, and models to drive informed decisions at point of sale.
• Market facing and production within the E&S Standard Property group.
• Administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations and rating manual rules.
• Working within broad limits and authorities on highly complex assignments.
