Job summary

Available Schedules: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM + optional OT on Friday and Saturday or Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM + optional OT on Friday and Saturday

Scope: Performs a wide range of assembly and troubleshooting tasks with moderate independence.

Core Responsibilities

Independently read and interpret:

• Blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics
• Assemble and install:
• Harnesses
• Switch panels
• Electrical and mechanical components
• Program lighting systems per engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot:
• 12V DC and 110V AC systems
• Perform repairs and rebuilds on:
• Mechanical
• Electrical
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults.
• Trace wiring, repair connections, and replace components as needed.
• Perform equipment setup and changeovers
• Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Electrical systems (12V DC & 110V AC)
  • Mechanical assembly processes
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation independently.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred).

Problem Solving

Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is (16 – 26.00).
