This position handles high levels of segmentations and high-volume campaigns with 2-3 million contacts a month. Collaborates with internal and external campaigns in a timely and accurate manner. Provides input and executes an e-mail marketing strategy with the goal of maximizing sales, enrollments and revenue through the on-line channel. Develops and executes reports to measure the effectiveness of e-mail campaigns while maintaining compliance with all international data privacy and email communication laws and regulations.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:Designs email content to increase guest engagement and increase responses towards marketing offersBuilds and executes email marketing communications in collaboration with internal teamsActively works to coordinate email deliveries with offer deployment to other channelsMonitors and reports on email campaign effectiveness using Google Analytics and Campaign Management softwareContributes to the overall marketing strategy in regards to best email communication practicesDesigns, updates and maintains email templatesAdheres to Mohegan Sun brand standardsCoordinates the review, approval, and distributes information about email campaigns to key team membersMaintains standard operating procedures and department best practices documentationEnsures compliance with all internal and external regulations surrounding data privacy and email communications including, but not limited to, CAN-SPAMSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:Ensures campaigns and other duties assigned are accurately maintained and processedParticipates in department wide brainstorming activities on a variety of topics, including new promotions.Works with internal and external teams to ensure e-mail campaigns are implemented in a timely and cost effective mannerMonitors e-mail marketing trends and best practices to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of campaign resultsAdheres to Mohegan Sun brand standards when creating an e-mail marketing campaignMinimum Education and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fieldExperience with Adobe creative suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat ProKnowledge of campaign management systemsStrong collaboration, project management, and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational, detailed oriented, and multi-tasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Word, Excel and OutlookIn lieu of degree and previously mentioned experience, four years of experience in an email specialist or similar position with a focus on HTML and graphic design may be consideredAdvanced knowledge of HTML and CSSDemonstrated knowledge of form-based methods for list acquisition and its implementation in a PHP web environmentBasic knowledge of re regulations surrounding data privacy and email communications including, but not limited to, CAN-SPAMAbility to learn to adapt to new Internet and authoring technologies relevant for e-mail design and developmentCompetencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:Strong computer skillsUnderstanding of web analytics as they relate to content deliveryAbility to use web analytics tools to analyze and make recommendations regarding e-mail marketing campaignsTraining Requirements:Knowledge of e-mail deliverability standardsMohegan Sun corporate and departmental policies and proceduresMohegan Sun Advertising/brand standardsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Office work environmentMust be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of timeMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hoursThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
