Position Details

• Title: Maintenance Mechanic E&I
• Location: Muskegon, MI
• Pay: $33.88 - $38.54/hr. based on qualifications
• Shift: 12-hour days, with ability to work various shift schedules

Overview

Responsible for calibration, service, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical instrumentation and electronic control systems on site. Ensures all motor controls, metering systems, and general maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment support safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and reliability.

Essential Job Functions

1. Maintain or assist in the installation/modification of electrical/electronic control systems by collaborating with process operations, engineering, and vendors.
2. Maintain documentation of electrical/electronic drawings and schematics.
3. Assist in pre-commissioning and start-up of new equipment/instrumentation.
4. Provide guidance to maintenance personnel on electrical and instrumentation issues.
5. Troubleshoot electrical/electronic control systems.
6. Maintain and document calibration of instrumentation.
7. Support development and implementation of PLC and DCS control systems.
8. Maintain plant scales and instrumentation systems.
9. Assist in training Level I Technicians.
10. Must be respirator qualified.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in industrial instrumentation.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
