Job summary

The Chemours Company in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Manufacturing Technology E&I Process Engineer to support electrical and instrumentation systems. You will lead reliability initiatives, guide maintenance, and ensure safety compliance in a highly regulated chemical manufacturing environment.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong RCFA/RCA and problem-solving skills. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of electrical/reliability engineering in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience troubleshooting with field maintenance personnel.
• Proficient with engineering software and data tools.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and hazardous locations.
• Ability to perform RCFA and RCA analyses.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliability, maintenance and performance support for plant electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Oversee safe operation of electrical distribution in compliance with NEC and NFPA 70E.
• Support PSM-covered processes through MOCs, PHAs and reviews.
• Lead RCFA and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to troubleshoot and improve reliability.
• Develop and approve specifications for electrical components, instrumentation and controls.
• Guide installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and improvements.
• Support capital projects with design input and reliability evaluations.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with policies.
