Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support the Department of Justice and our litigation teams. You will conduct legal research, synopsize transcripts, and assist attorneys through all phases of litigation, with a focus on employment and civil matters.

The role requires 2+ years of paralegal experience and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with e-discovery tools are expected.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of paralegal experience.
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with all phases of litigation and discovery.
• Knowledge of federal and state court systems and research procedures.
• Familiarity with LexisNexis, Westlaw, and PACER.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional paralegal support across litigation phases.
• Assist with discovery requests and responses; draft motions and briefs.
• Organize exhibits and assist with trial preparations.
• Synopsize transcripts of hearings and oral arguments for attorneys.
