Job Overview

Department: Legal Services

CGS seeks an experienced IT legal support professional with exemplary eDiscovery expertise to support a large federal agency. This role involves independently developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs for litigation environment applications, such as litigation support databases, associated management systems, and analytical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs.
  • Translate program requirements into program code.
  • Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications.
  • Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
  • Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces; implement standardized reports; create and generate specialized and ad hoc reports as required.
Qualifications
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Requires substantial, hands‑on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
  • At least two years of directly applicable experience is required.
  • At least three years of overall programming experience, including experience with large‑scale database management systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred, preferably in computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
Preferred Experience
  • Broad knowledge of government IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server‑based databases and applications.
  • Supervisory or team‑leader experience.
  • Experience in automated litigation support.

Salary

$112,597.33 - $152,810.66 a year
