Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley in Frederick, MD is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist the E-Commerce department by packing and shipping items purchased online, and to ensure shipments are accurate and well-protected.

You will use appropriate packing materials, record weights and dimensions, and coordinate with the team to meet quality and safety standards while supporting Goodwill's mission and core values.

Starting pay is $15.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Examines shipment contents and compares with records to verify accuracy.
• Determines shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials.
• Packs, seals, and labels or affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping.
• Moves materials to the loading area and maintains a clean, safe work area.
• Communicates with Manager or Assistant Manager on issues requiring solutions.
