Job summary

Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. in Newark, OH is seeking an E-Commerce Quality Specialist to help sort and inspect incoming merchandise for online sale and ensure accuracy before listing.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining organized shipping areas to support high-quality customer experiences. This is a regular full-time position in a store environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort merchandise for online sale suitability.
• Inspect merchandise quality, condition, authenticity, completeness, and functionality.
• Test and verify electronics have necessary accessories.
• Identify shipping method; prepare and maintain pre-shipment areas.
• Research unfamiliar products to ensure proper identification and categorization.
• Determine the appropriate online listing category.
• Remove damaged, counterfeit, incomplete, or unsuitable merchandise from the online process.
• Maintain consistent quality standards to reduce customer returns and improve satisfaction.
• Ability to control inventory.
• Confirm that merchandise matches the customer order before shipment.
• Help maintain shipping supplies and keep the shipping area clean and organized.

E-Commerce Quality Specialist

Location: Goodwill2Go - 245 Deo Dr. Newark Ohio

Number of positions: 1

Pay: $11.00- $12.00 per hour

38-40 hours a week

Store hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

• Sort incoming merchandise to determine suitability for online sale.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, condition, authenticity, completeness, and functionality.
• Tests as well as verify that electronics have necessary accessories.
• Identify shipping method. Prepare and maintain pre-shipment areas.
• Research unfamiliar products to ensure accurate identification and categorization.
• Determine the appropriate online listing category

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of digital photography & editing programs a plus
• Frequently standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders .
• Packing & shipping experience preferred.
• Employers conduct pre-employment drug screens which include THC and background check.
• Have the physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and reach as required to complete the job. Be able to lift 50 lbs.
