Job summary

Kroger in Topeka, KS is seeking an associate to select and assemble online orders for pickup. You will ensure freshness and quality, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars on arrival.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Receive customers’ orders from Order Selector according to guidelines; store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Initiate and complete selection process for customers’ on-line orders.
• Read and follow directions given in the note section.
• Process the orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
• Follow policies and procedures to determine substitutions in the event of an out-of-stock.
