Job summary

TikTok is hiring for a Governance and Experience Algorithm role in the United States. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong coding skills in Linux, proficiency in Python, Go or C++.
• Solid data structures/algorithms foundation and ML/DL theory knowledge.
• Familiar with NLP/CV/Multimodal/graph algorithms/search/text mining/LLMs.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify algorithms for risk/violation/low-quality issues in e-commerce contexts (products, shopping carts, live content).
• Mine and detect fraudulent behavior and risky merchants/creators.
• Optimize large-scale brand libraries, products, and content deduplication/clustering.
• Support data construction, instruction fine-tuning, CoT, and alignment for large models in e-commerce.
• Explore reinforcement learning and operations research for audit scheduling and dispatching.
