Job summary

Goodwill-Industries is seeking a motivated donor services associate to sort donations for online channels and prepare items for shipment. You will document, package, and ship items for the E‑Commerce and E‑Books departments, while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to guidelines.

The role involves assisting with in-person donations, training staff, and collaborating with store management to improve selection and profitability. It offers a stable, full-time schedule on site.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to engage with donors.
• Strong attention to detail for sorting, pricing, and categorization.
• Ability to quickly learn donation policies and safety basics.
• Teamwork and clear communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• Knowledge of E‑Commerce platforms (ShopGoodwill, Amazon, eBay).
• Proficiency in Excel and inventory management tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and sort donations for E‑Commerce and E‑Books.
• Document, package, and ship items following procedures.
• Maintain communication with management about needs and improvements.
• Adhere to the Do Not Send List for online sales.
• Monitor inventory and ensure sellable items are listed promptly.
• Pack and ship online orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with in-person donations and Drive-Thru Ambassador duties as needed.
• Train and guide E‑Book staff to improve item selection.
