Job summary

Yoke’s Grocery is hiring associates to deliver a warm, efficient guest experience across our store, ensuring customers receive hospitality and professional service in every interaction.

The role emphasizes creating a welcoming atmosphere, adherence to safety and food-handling procedures, accurate product selection and checkout, and teamwork with fellow associates. A high school diploma or GED and basic math skills are required, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Report for assigned shifts on time, and on a regular basis, capable of communicating clearly and demonstrating suitable physical abilities to safely perform assigned tasks and duties.
• Promote sales and exceptional guest experience through e-commerce, focusing on quality control and accuracy of the shopping site.
• Understand and perform the following: selecting the best possible products, using provided equipment to select items and process orders, proper bagging and storage techniques.
• Communicate and complete guests’ special order requests with accuracy and timeliness.
• Find ways to make our guests happy.
• Ensure all work in the department complies with local, state, federal and company safety, food handling safety, and guest services rules.
• Participate in the Grocery Department’s accident reduction plan including cleaning floors, sanitizing, and recognizing shelf order and safety features.
