Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking an Electronics & E-Commerce Associate to help drive revenue goals through accurate product listings, detailed descriptions, and careful inventory management. You will research data online, craft precise listings with specs and photos, and ensure safekeeping of items until sold.

You will test electronics and musical instruments, wipe personal data, and use equipment to authenticate value. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to process images on mobile devices and use graphics editing software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of computer diagnostics, hardware repairs, software installations, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Mac OS and mobile device reset protocols.
• Understanding of contemporary computer hardware.
• Familiarity with musical instruments.
• Knowledge of vintage stereo components and typewriters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in problem solving and strategies to hit revenue and sell-through targets.
• Research data online and incorporate into product item descriptions.
• Create listings with accurate item titles, measurements, sizes, photos and descriptions; disclose defects or extra costs.
• Complete inventory tickets and attach to items; move items to proper area for safekeeping.
• Test electrical items and musical instruments; remove personal data and use equipment to authenticate or value.
• Perform duties in line with Core Values.
