Job summary

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in Miami seeks a seasoned Head E&C Wholesale LatAm to lead strategy and profitability for the LatAm portfolio. You will direct underwriting standards, shape risk approach, and build relationships with clients and brokers across Latin America.

You will manage a small team of underwriters and collaborate with global E&C and Renewable Energy communities to deliver innovative solutions and ensure disciplined risk governance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or comparable education with strong affinity to the engineering & construction industry.
• Proven track record in leading and managing teams with diverse backgrounds.
• 10+ years of engineering underwriting experience with a primary insurer or reinsurer.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership - Define the vision and strategy for the E&C LatAm Wholesale Portfolio, driving profitable growth and performance
• Portfolio Management - Own the Profit & P&L of the E&C LatAm Wholesale portfolio, align risk with global appetite
• Technical Excellence - Serve as reference on technical issues and stay ahead of market trends for E&C
• Relationship Building - Cultivate strategic relationships with key clients and brokers in LatAm
• Risk Governance - Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and risk frameworks
• Innovation - Drive development of new solutions addressing evolving client needs
