Qualifications

• Hands-on experience submitting electronic invoices through third-party e-billing platforms
• Strong understanding of outside counsel guidelines, client billing requirements, and legal invoicing procedures
• Experience troubleshooting rejected invoices and managing appeals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple billing deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit electronic legal invoices in accordance with client billing guidelines and fee agreements
• Manage high-volume e-billing workflows while ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Set up new clients and matters within electronic billing platforms
• Submit invoices, budgets, timekeeper rate requests, and accruals through client billing portals
• Monitor invoice status, research rejections, and follow up on delayed submissions
• Prepare and submit appeals for rejected or reduced invoices
• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client billing inquiries
• Coordinate with attorneys and internal finance teams to address billing issues and complete special projects
