Job summary

Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff is seeking an e-Billing Specialist for the Cleveland office. This hybrid role offers work-from-home flexibility and a path to contribute to the firm’s financial operations.

You will manage the end-to-end e-billing process, monitor BillBlast, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with billing and collections teams to resolve issues, all while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 3 years of client billing experience.
• Typing speed of 60 WPM and 10-key by touch are required.
• Proficient in Excel and Word as well as understanding of E-invoicing systems.
• Aderant/BillBlast experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude.
• Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Understand start to finish billing process and procedures.
• Monitor Billblast/e-billing systems for submissions and rejections.
• Work with billing and collections team to solve e-billing issues.
• Communicate professionally with BFCA personnel and external contacts at all times.
• Process and follow up appeals as needed.
• Review invoices for OCG requirements.
• Enter rates/accruals into different systems.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

e-Billing Specialist - Cleveland Office

The e-Billing Specialist processes the flow of computerized billing from inception to final product to include narrative edits and transfers, unbilled write-offs, and distribution of month-end prebills and reports for specific timekeepers in an accurate and timely manner.

Essential Functions

• Understanding of start to finish billing process and procedures
• Understanding of multiple e-billing sites and requirements
• Monitor Billblast/e-billing systems for submissions and rejections.
• Work with billing and collections team to solve e-billing issues.
• Communicates properly and promptly with BFCA personnel and external contacts at all times and must exhibit a high level of customer service at all times.
• Process / follow up appeals as needed.
• Review invoices for OCG requirements.
• Ability to enter rates/accruals into different systems.
• Ability to problem solve and critically think.
• Ability to work alone and also in a team setting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $62K to $82K.

Please note that quoted salary ranges are based on Benesch's good faith belief at the time of the job posting and are not a guarantee of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that Benesch provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full-time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a co
