Job summary

Search Group Solutions is seeking an experienced eBiller in Los Angeles, hybrid work setup. You will manage the full eBilling process, ensure invoices comply with client guidelines, and collaborate with attorneys, clients, and accounting staff to meet deadlines.

The role requires 2+ years in legal billing, proficiency with major billing platforms, and strong Excel and analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal billing or eBilling experience.
• Experience with major legal accounting platforms (Elite 3E, Aderant).
• Experience with eBilling portals like CounselLink, Legal Tracker, Tymetrix360, Collaborati, Brightflag.
• Knowledge of LEDES formats, UTBMS coding, and client billing guidelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication with attorneys, clients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete eBilling process from pre-bills to final invoices.
• Review and edit prebills and WIP.
• Prepare and submit invoices through eBilling portals.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and outside counsel requirements.
• Research and resolve billing rejections and payment issues.
• Maintain client billing profiles, rate structures, and matter information.
• Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and accounting staff to meet deadlines.
• Monitor invoice status and assist with collections.
• Generate billing reports and support month-end activities.
• Participate in billing process improvements and special projects.

The Opportunity

Search Group Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to identify an experienced eBiller. This position plays a critical role in managing the firm's electronic billing process, ensuring invoices are submitted accurately, comply with client billing guidelines, and are processed in a timely manner.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with legal billing experience who enjoys working with attorneys, clients, and multiple eBilling platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete eBilling process from pre-bills through final invoice submission.
• Review and edit attorney prebills and work-in-process (WIP).
• Prepare and submit invoices through various eBilling portals.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and outside counsel requirements.
• Research and resolve billing rejections, payment issues, and invoice discrepancies.

• Partner with attorneys, legal assistants, and accounting staff to meet billing deadlines.
