Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Dyslexia Specialist to support students with reading difficulties. You will deliver explicit, multisensory instruction and develop individualized plans based on assessment data. Collaboration with teachers, diagnosticians, and families is essential to ensure progress and compliance with TEA guidelines.

You will work in flexible role options—full-time, part-time, or as-needed—with competitive pay and benefits designed to support educator growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Texas Educator Certification required.
• Dyslexia certification or TEA-approved training preferred.
• Knowledge of Texas dyslexia laws and ARD processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide explicit, multisensory dyslexia intervention.
• Develop individualized support plans based on data.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with campus teams and families.
• Ensure compliance with TEA guidelines and ARD/504 processes.
• Support student literacy growth and confidence.
