We are seeking a skilled Dynatrace Engineer to lead and execute the migration of monitoring and observability systems from Splunk and Nagios to Dynatrace. This role requires deep expertise in performance monitoring, observability toolsets, and enterprise system integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Dynatrace deployment, configuration, and optimization, as well as a strong understanding of legacy monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end migration from Splunk and Nagios to Dynatrace for infrastructure and application monitoring.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive migration plan, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Configure Dynatrace agents, custom dashboards, alerting rules, and integrations to meet business needs.
• Map legacy monitoring use cases (alerts, metrics, logs) to equivalent Dynatrace functionalities.
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure complete coverage and visibility.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, provide tuning recommendations, and optimize monitoring configurations.
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in monitoring/observability engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace implementation and administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Splunk and Nagios, particularly in monitoring architecture and alerting.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring (servers, databases, containers, cloud platforms).
• Experience working with APIs, scripting (e.g., Python, Shell), and automation tools for configuration/deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
