Job description

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Dynamics 365 Developer/Development Lead to manage our FCMT Sustainment and Development Team. This position is full-time and fully remote.

Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of developers and testers in a supervisory role.
2. Become SME for FCMT application, providing expertise, advice, and system knowledge to PjM and customer.
3. Design and code applications following specifications using Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, App Services, ASP.Net Web services, and PowerApps.
4. Guide the team towards successful project delivery and provide leadership through coaching and mentorship.
5. Maintain high standards of excellence by establishing good practices.
6. Assist in collecting and documenting user requirements, developing user stories, estimates, and work plans.
7. Prepare reports, manuals, operational procedures, and other documentation on project status, operation, and maintenance.
8. Integrate with necessary applications, collaborate with system development teams, and assist in system integration testing.
9. Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Analyze system factors including input/output requirements, information flow, and hardware/software needs.
11. Participate in code reviews and Sprint Reviews to ensure adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Expertise in developing and supporting Dynamics 365 applications.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Experience supervising a team of developers/engineers.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Experience working with Azure.
• Experience with version control and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Teams).
• Experience in a remote work environment.
• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
• Clearance: Suitability/Public Trust.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with VA or other Federal Agencies.
• Understanding of VA VIP project management methodology.
• Experience with Power BI.

Additional Information

Salary range: USD $110,000 - USD $125,000 per year. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
