Job summary

Great organization! in Paramus, NJ seeks a Sales Order Data Entry Specialist to accurately convert and enter existing sales order backlog into Microsoft Dynamics 365. You will support data accuracy across orders, customers, and shipping details while adhering to approved processes.

You will validate orders, coordinate with Customer Service and Operations, and assist with data cleanup and UAT. Strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency are essential for handling high-volume transactions

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter existing sales order backlog into Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Create and maintain sales orders in accordance with approved business processes and data standards.
• Validate customer information, shipping addresses, requested delivery dates, pricing, order quantities, and other critical order details.
• Verify item numbers, inventory dimensions, warehouse information, and units of measure to ensure data accuracy.
• Review source documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to order entry.
• Research and resolve data discrepancies by collaborating with Customer Service, Operations, and Business Analysts.
• Meet established daily productivity and quality goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Participate in backlog reconciliation and data validation activities.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating entered sales orders.
• Assist with data cleanup and correction efforts as needed.
• Promptly elevate missing, incomplete, or conflicting business information to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of customer, company, and government-related information.
