Job summary

Agile Resources, Inc. seeks a Lead Software Engineer with deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience to lead a hands-on technical team supporting a critical D365 environment.

You will drive architecture, code design, DevOps, and integrations while mentoring developers. This remote US role favors candidates aligned to EST or CST hours and requires quarterly travel to HQ.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of application development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience with Web API / REST.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of SOLID, Object-Oriented Design, DRY, and Domain-Driven Design.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable providing technical leadership while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO.
• Design and develop forms, screens, views, workflows, reports, and business logic.
• Build integrations between D365 FO and enterprise systems.
• Participate throughout the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Establish and enforce development patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to solution architecture and technical design.
• Lead POCs, design sessions, and pair programming efforts.
• Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, QA, infrastructure teams, and external consultants.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support production deployments.
• Monitor D365 environments and help ensure security, performance, and data management practices.
• Mentor junior developers and onboard new team members.
• Evaluate new D365 FO releases and identify impacts and opportunities.
• Drive DevOps practices with automated builds, deployments, and performance testing.
