Job summary

Ledgent Technology seeks a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to lead administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the ERP environment in Houston, TX. The role partners with Finance, IT, and business units to streamline AP/AR, GL, purchasing, inventory, and service operations, leveraging Power BI and Power Platform for reporting and automation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of BC/ NAV experience, strong ERP background, and excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
• Strong functional consulting or ERP admin background with BC.
• Deep understanding of Finance and Accounting processes including AP, AR, General Ledger, purchasing, and month-end activities.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, dashboards, and reporting; Power Automate usage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as BC owner for day-to-day administration and optimization.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Service teams to identify process improvements and system enhancements.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, user acceptance testing, release planning, training, and change management initiatives.
• Drive improvements within AP, AR, General Ledger, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, service management, and project accounting processes.
• Work closely with internal developers and third-party consultants on customizations, integrations, and enhancement projects.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using Power Automate and other Power Platform solutions.
• Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards through Power BI to improve business visibility and decision making.
