Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Experience with light mechanical and/or electrical assembly
• Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, pallet jacks, hand trucks, fixed gauges, jigs, meters, soldering irons, riveters, presses and crimping tools
• Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and sound judgement

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints, schedules, shop orders, and process instructions.
• Arranges parts, materials, tooling, gauges and equipment to meet production.
• Fields requisitions and stores.
• Transfers Kan Ban cards to producing departments.
• Sets up work cell and monitors quality.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Trains staff in department operations.
• Follows safety rules and keeps area clean.
• Uses computer to check order status.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
