Job summary

QXO is North America’s largest distributor and installer of insulation, roofing, lumber and waterproofing products. We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist in Texas to load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory, operate a forklift or pallet jack, and ensure loads are secured and accurate through cycle counts.

This is a safety sensitive, local position with up to 12-hour shifts and occasional travel (<10%). Must be 18+, able to use a handheld scanner, and lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive pay and benefits range from $13.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver’s license will be required.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack safely.
• Cycle count inventory and report discrepancies.
• Ensure loads are complete, secured and protected from damage.
• Stand/walk for long periods and handle up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
