Qualifications

• High school level education or equivalent.
• Valid VA driver’s license and experience driving a fork truck and loading box trailers.

Responsibilities

• Receives materials and verifies shipments against bills of lading, PO's, manifests; unloads and inspects materials; records receipt in system.
• Moves finished products to storage and prepares orders for shipment using SOPs for labeling and packaging.
• Manages pickup/delivery schedule to maximize throughput and minimize detention charges.
• Verifies that orders are correctly filled and shipments are properly packaged, labeled and documented; loads shipments.
• Performs material handling and stores finished goods and raw materials by oldest stock first.
• Maintains warehouse areas per safety and sanitation regulations; performs daily fork truck checks.
• Prepares and submits receipts and paperwork to Administrative Coordinator.
• Follows safety policies including PPE and equipment safeguards.
• Performs other duties including production-area tasks as needed.
