Job summary

Amarillo ISD is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support the Receiving and Distribution Manager in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, delivery, assembly, and furniture moves at district campuses.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and customer service. Physical duties include lifting and operating warehouse equipment, with regular overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Solve exceptions to receiving and distribution, researching with vendors, campuses, Purchasing or AP.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify quantities and condition against Purchase Orders.
• Maintain accurate receiving, delivery, transfer, and surplus records for the Warehouse.
• Participate in daily physical work: loading, unloading, delivering, assembling, or relocating items.
• Assist with furniture moves and assemblies throughout District facilities.
