Job summary

Irving ISD is looking for a dedicated individual to provide quality support to their educational and maintenance programs through efficient warehousing operations and delivery management. This role involves loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining district vehicles, and supervising staff in a dynamic work environment.

Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED, a Texas Class C Driver's License, and ideally have experience in a warehouse setting. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• One year of warehouse and/or delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate account procedures.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and record discrepancies.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and inspect shipments.
• Ensure district vehicles are properly maintained.
• Respond promptly to urgent situations or emergencies.
• Supervise Warehouse Delivery Helper.

Skills

Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to understand and follow detailed written or verbal instructions

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to perform basic math

Knowledge of automated inventory systems

Ability to operate medium to heavy duty trucks

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Forklift Operator certification (preferred)

Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License
