Job summary

Great Lakes Wine & Spirits in Detroit seeks a Warehouse Customer Door Associate to break down and sort orders, verify accuracy, and hand them off to the appropriate recipient. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 55 lbs, and occasional heavy pushing/pulling as part of daily duties.

The position is full-time with a 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401K, plus paid holidays and vacation time.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
• Ability to be active and on your feet for an entire shift.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry 55 lbs., and push or pull up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Break down and sort orders and verify accuracy before tendering to the appropriate party.
• Remedy mis-picks and breakage as needed.
• Release orders and print/disperse labels.
• Scan product and close routes.
• Create and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area and comply with policies.
