Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for a contract-to-hire role in Beaverton, OR. The position focuses on accurate order fulfillment, inventory control, loading/unloading, and support for kitting projects in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities include operating RF scanners, stacking and labeling, and assisting with light assembly and returns. The role requires physical stamina and teamwork to meet productivity targets. On-site, 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. shift.

Qualifications

• 13 years of prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Hands-on experience using RF scanners or RF devices for order picking and inventory management.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Experience with loading and unloading trucks and general material handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to a height of 34 feet and load product into trucks.
• Comfortable working on their feet for most of the day in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and reading skills in English to interpret work orders, inventory labels, and safety information.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory control.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare customer orders using RF scanners while following established warehouse procedures.
• Receive, unload, stock, and organize incoming inventory in designated storage locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Label, palletize, wrap, and stage products for shipment according to shipping requirements.
• Assist with light assembly, custom orders, and kitting projects to support larger customer initiatives.
• Help load customer pickups and process product returns in a timely and accurate way.
• Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records in coordination with inventory systems.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by following housekeeping and safety guidelines.
• Work closely with team members to support daily warehouse operations and meet productivity and accuracy goals.
• Charge batteries and assist with basic disassembly tasks as needed for kitting and project work.
