Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Operations Coordinator to drive efficient cross-dock operations, supervise loading, and ensure timely deliveries on the first shift. You will coordinate inbound/outbound freight, manage trailer movements, and ensure labor coverage meets daily demand, while following GMP and safety rules.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years forklift experience, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and 3 years in warehousing/distribution with PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Forklift experience required, 2+ years minimum.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• 3 years of warehousing/distribution experience.
• Ability to sit/walk/stand for long periods.
• PPE standards must be followed in the distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound/outbound freight flow and cross-dock operations.
• Project loads shipped to each club daily.
• Review appointment schedules to unload on time.
• Coordinate trailer movements using Yard Management System.
• Ensure labor coverage matches daily workload.
• Utilize systems for process design and reporting efficiency.
• Organize daily movement of products.
• Meet customer deadlines in receiving and shipping inventories.
• Assign appointments and inbound drops to doors.
• Assign empty trailers for loading to doors.
• Assign inbound trailers to dock doors.
• Oversee loading to maximize cubic feet and weight.
• Follow GMP and report noncompliance.
• Observe safety rules and assist enforcement.
• Other duties as assigned.
