Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a skilled Clerk to join our warehouse team in Minneapolis. The role covers inbound, outbound, UPS shipments, core processing, returns, and recalls, with emphasis on accurate and timely documentation and communication with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include coordinating freight, verifying counts, labeling, processing returns, and handling laboratory-like recall work while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior shipping or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds.
• Experience with RF scanning and computers.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inbound: schedule inbound freight and verify counts; obtain docs for inbound freight and ASN verifications.
• Outbound: schedule outbound freight; ensure labels and tickets; maintain dock security; complete shipping docs.
• UPS Shipments: print labels, overpack shipments, sort and route packages.
• Core Processing: unload/ stage core returns and defects; scan and complete paperwork.
• Returns: process returns, restock parts in designated areas, check shipments for accuracy.
• RGN: prepare and ship back labor claims, handle recalls and warranties; communicate with stores.
• Quality Control: ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free; report variances.
• Safety, Housekeeping, & Security: maintain clean, safe work environment; follow safety programs.
• Decision Making: proactively identify and resolve problems during daily warehouse operations.
• Meet or exceed production goals; perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
