Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Jackson, MS is seeking a motivated Clerk to join our warehouse team. You will handle inbound and outbound freight, processing cores, returns and shipments, while ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.

You’ll work with customers and vendors as needed, operate RF scanners and warehouse equipment, and support safety and quality controls in a fast-paced environment. This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and availability Monday through Friday

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds with aids.
• Physical flexibility to bend, squat, climb and reach.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Shipping or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience with computers and RF scanning equipment.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
• Capable and willing to operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inbound: schedule freight, verify counts, collect documentation, ASN verifications.
• Outbound: schedule freight, apply labels, ensure documentation.
• UPS Shipments: print labels, overpack, sort and route.
• Core Processing: unload/stage cores, sort, scan, complete paperwork.
• Returns: process returns, restock in designated areas.
• RGN: prepare and ship labor claims, handle recalls & vendor questions.
• Quality Control: ensure accuracy and report variances.
• Safety, Housekeeping, & Security: maintain clean, safe work environment.
• Decision Making: identify and resolve problems in daily operations.
• Meet or exceed production goals and perform other duties as assigned.
