Carroll County Coop – Galax & Wytheville Branches is hiring full-time Warehouse Associates. The role focuses on loading/unloading, inventory handling, and operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and front-end loaders.

A strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer service is required to support our agricultural inventory and retail operations. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stocking, showroom replenishment, and occasional deliveries to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience handling inventory and loading/unloading merchandise.
• Ability to operate industrial equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
• Safety-conscious with ability to verify loads and routes.
• Willingness to assist customers and fill orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with filling orders and loading merchandise into vehicles.
• Receive deliveries and unload using appropriate equipment.
• Move merchandise safely through the warehouse and stock shelves.
• Perform showroom replenishment and ensure displays are accessible.
• Deliver to customer locations using Coop vehicles when needed.
• Perform daily housekeeping and general maintenance as required.
• Maintain safety and security to minimize merchandise loss.
• Pay based on experience; pay range $13.00-$17.00 per hour.
