Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform warehousing duties in accordance with the storage plan. You will verify materials, route to storage locations, and prepare items for shipment, while taking inventory and reporting discrepancies or damages.

This full-time role may require forklift operation, handling hazardous materials per NAVSUP and CFR guidelines, and upholding safety and cleanliness in the workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 Years' experience in a related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable NACLC background investigation prior to start date.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supports Goodwill’s mission and core values.
• Familiar with and perform functions in Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Minor Property, and Consumables.
• Provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• May operate forklifts.
• Stows hazardous and flammable material per NAVSUP PUB 505 and CFR 49 PART 100.
• Adheres to all recycling procedures.
• Responsible for general housekeeping of assigned areas.
