Job summary

Carroll County Coop – Galax & Wytheville Branches is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate with experience handling inventory and operating industrial equipment, including forklift, front-end loader, and pallet jack. The role requires an outgoing, friendly approach and familiarity with the agriculture industry.

The candidate will support customers, unload deliveries, stock shelves, perform showroom replenishment, and assist with daily maintenance and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience handling inventory and loading orders.
• Proficient with industrial equipment including forklifts and loaders.
• Able to lift and move merchandise safely.
• Familiar with agriculture industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer support while assisting customers with orders.
• Receive deliveries and unload merchandise using appropriate equipment.
• Move merchandise safely through warehouse and stock shelves.
• Perform showroom replenishment and ensure displays are tidy.
• Deliver bulk merchandise to customer locations using Coop vehicles.
• Perform daily housekeeping and general maintenance.
• Assist with inventory counts and verification.
• Ensure safety and security to minimize loss.
