Job summary

Empire Auto Parts in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-growing team. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and distributing products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety and organization in the warehouse.

You will perform inspections, pick and pack orders, and help with inventory counts while adhering to company standards. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; a high school diploma is sufficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 60 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Unafraid of heights up to 30 ft.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspection: receive shipments, inspect for accuracy, document discrepancies.
• Storage and organization: store products safely and efficiently in designated areas.
• Order picking and packing: accurately pick and pack customer orders with proper labeling.
• Inventory management: perform regular counts and maintain stock records; report discrepancies.
• Quality assurance and safety: uphold company standards and safe handling of materials.
• Equipment operation: safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks; perform inspections.
• Collaboration: work with team across departments to meet goals and resolve issues.
