Sprouts Farmers Market in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager to lead one of our busiest departments and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining product quality and inventory control.

The role requires 18+ years and at least 1 year of vitamin/holistic experience with leadership duties, plus strong communication and a flexible schedule. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and a minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior; a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills; ability to give and take direction while maintaining a team environment.
• Be able to perform standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and other physical duties as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service.
• Ensure customers receive the best service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products.
• Maintain knowledge of vitamins and health products to guide customers without prescribing.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
• Unload and sort deliveries; ensure safety guidelines are followed.
