Job summary

5-hour ENERGY® is seeking a Video Editor / Motion Graphics Artist who thrives on cutting fast, engaging short-form social videos and traditional commercials. You’ll craft hooks, pacing, and variations to test performance while delivering broadcast-ready content across platforms.

The role requires shaping edits from raw footage to final deliverables, collaborating with photo/video teams, and ensuring high-quality output for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, plus broadcast-ready formats.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of video editing experience in social/short-form content and traditional commercial cuts.
• Solid skills in Adobe After Effects and the broader Adobe suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, etc.).
• Understanding of hooks, pacing, payoff—and how to test content performance.
• Experience with music mixing and sound design to shape viewer experience.
• Working knowledge of color correction and grading for consistency across deliverables.
• Familiarity with broadcast delivery requirements—files, codecs, specs.

Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver high-quality short-form social videos at speed with multiple options.
• Cut and finish :15–:30 commercials, including trimming longer spots to shorter versions without losing story.
• Create variations of edits to support performance testing and reviews.
• Develop motion graphics that feel native to the platform, not like a slideshow.
• Mix music, add sound effects, and manage audio to keep viewers engaged.
• Apply color correction and grading for visual consistency.
• Support the photography and videography team with social posts and brand content.
• Assist with ad production and web video projects as needed.
• Format and deliver content to spec for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and broadcast delivery.
• Stay current on trends and platform behavior to keep content timely.
• Juggle multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
