Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians through the Perfect Patient Experience and help build Patients for Life. You will prepare patients for examinations, assist dental professionals, and maintain a clean, sterile operatory while collaborating with front office staff.

Responsibilities include radiographs, instrument sterilization, charting in the digital patient record, and ensuring supplies are available for efficient patient care across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and state-mandated training courses as required by the state for certification, licensure, or registration.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, and travel to multiple offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians to support PPE and patient care.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to enable efficient, quality care.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supplies for each operatory.
• Record patient charting and health history in the digital chart.
